Anglo/Celtic Ancient Mother Goddess.
Her name means - The Invincible One, Unconquerable and She who has not Fallen. The Goddess of Victory and War. The Goddess of the Woodland Groves. Worshipped by the Icini People.
Her name is also linked to Andate and the Gallic Deity Andarte. The Romans called her Andred.
Even she is seen as a War Goddess, she believes in peace, and is seen today as a mother and Fertility Goddess too.
Her real history is lost in time and what we know today is coming mostly from the Roman scriptures.
She is worshipped in sacred grooves, places that give access to the spiritual realm.
Today we see Her as our Spiritual Warrior, She is our personal guide to Empowerment, to give us Courage as we stand Strong and Proud on our Spiritual Path. So, You/we can find the True Purpose in Life.
One thing is very important about Her:
DUALITY – Light/Dark, Good/Evil, Spirit/Matter, Female/Male - these are just some examples of dualities. Andraste – She Who Has Not Fallen – helps passing these dualities, moving through the chaos of transformation, offering strength in struggle and helping to make the right decisions. We all can make our personal choice to find our way through this jungle of falling pits, avoiding to fall into those pits full of violence, hate, anger, jealousy, and war; or just walk around these pits, It will be Andraste who will guide you around those dangerous pits.
